Ben White will be presenting and taking questions on a range of on-farm grain storage issues at the Dowerin Field days including; storage options, planning for storage expansion, using gas-tight silos, using grain bags, understanding aeration cooling and aeration drying, improving storage hygiene, monitoring and identifying insects and safety around storage.

Consultant Chris Warrick will also be on site discussing the economics of on-farm grain storage. Chris will demonstrate how to calculate the costs and benefits of storing grain, giving you the tools to compare a grain storage to other farm investment options or to using bulk handlers.
