Peter Botta will be presenting and taking questions on a range of grain storage issues including; pest identification and control, understanding aeration cooling and aeration drying, successful fumigation in gas-tight storage, pest prevention through grain hygiene and managing the various types of storage – silos, bags, bunkers and sheds.

Consultant Chris Warrick will also present a segment on the economics of on-farm grain storage. Chris will demonstrate how to calculate the costs and benefits of storing grain, giving you the tools to compare a grain storage to other farm investment options or to using bulk handlers.
