Soil Probes & Grain Storage – Wonwondah Workshop

Join fellow farmers for a practical on-farm workshop to explore how soil moisture probes and improved grain storage can support better farm decisions and profitability.

The event will feature:

  • Grain Storage Best Practice – Grain storage specialist Chris Warrick will share the latest GRDC research on fumigation, venting options, pest management in bags, prevention strategies, and cost-effective storage solutions.

  • Soil Probe DemonstrationTim Powell from Integrated Irrigation will showcase the full features of the Wimmera soil probe network and how farmers can access and apply the data.

  • Using Soil Moisture DataDale Boyd, Agriculture Victoria Seasonal Risk Agronomist, will demonstrate how soil probe data can guide crop and pasture decisions, with an update on Wimmera soil moisture profiles.
