Fundamentals for successful bunker storage include:
  • Site selection and preparation – keeping water out and away is critical.
  • Plan bunker size and wall design or edge of stack to fit auger and tarp.
  • Decide on a method for holding the tarp down and sealing to the groundsheet.
  • Fill evenly to aid runoff and avoid air voids under the tarp.
  • Have a safe method and operating protocol for moving tarps on and off the stack.
